Life Goes On!

This past weekend was quite busy. To start it off on friday night we had a delicious dinner at the Mower's. We sure enjoyed their company. Thanks for the invite.
Saturday was Valentine's Day. Mike took me to Olive Garden, which is one of my favorite places to eat. Then we watched the movie Horton Hears a Who, which was quite cute. After that we enjoyed the Steelheads game with the Stierer's followed by dessert at Old Chicago. Sunday was busy with meetings and the missionary fireside was wonderful! I got to work on Monday, President's Day which didn't bother me in the least, I was so grateful to be working!!! Mike was home all day and did so many sweet things around the house that melted my heart! He found me a potential job in Tri-Cities, but that would mean leaving again and I still need to be licensed in Washington so that won't work out! I really want to be in Boise with Mike and our wonderful friends so I am not too bumbed, but what I am really sad about is that I still haven't found full-time permanent work here. I can say I have had some temp days that have saved us! So I can't complain. Really that is about all! This week is going to be another busy but fun adventure!
Here are a few pics...

Another Week

Not too much happened this week. I am feeling much closer to finding work, even though it is not full-time. I was able to have 2 days of temp work, which is a blessing for sure! things are coming together, but well I'm sure you all know how tough job searching is. Need I say more? We had a fun weekend with Jeff, Laura & Jack. Thanks to craigslist and Peggy we had a little extra spending money to go out for a bite and then watch a movie. It was alot of fun, like old times. By the way, Jack is got the softest & biggest noggin ever. I love caressing it. He is absolutely adorable. can I just say "I love having so many surrgate(sp?) babies around for me to play with and cuddle, until I can have my own of course." Thanks for everone who shares their little ones with me.

Settling In

I can't believe it is already February. January flew by and now its on to LOVE month. We are enjoying our sunday and proud to say we are not attending or having a Superbowl Party. We are staying at home and watching the game with another couple. It will be quiet. Hopefully it is a somewhat exciting game. I will be painting my toes and going through papers and stuff, but thats ok, it will still be enjoyable. I can say I am getting more use to my new calling as the 1st Counselor in the RS Presidnecy. It is overwhelming and I have lots to learn, but I sure am enjoying it. I feel like I can put the time into it that I need to, so that is nice.
Mike is working hard with school, researh and DAT prep (same-ol, same-ol) He finally got his specific research assignment and it is pretty intense. There is too much technical jargon, but it is stuff that has never been done before with various shaped nano-particles. He is really excited about it. This is what he will be doing for his summer job full-time. He is hoping to get something published by the end of the summer. YIPPY! We'll see how that goes. I know we are nerds, well more-so Mike, but I love it when he draws me the pics and explains it all to me.
Other than that, I am still job searching, but I know something will happen soon.
