The Rest of December!

It is hard to remember what all has happened since Dec 15th, but it has been great! Calgary was a blast! We got to see most of our family and friends that we wanted and yet still feeling like it was a break, which is what we both really needed. Mike from school and me from work. It was great to see some old friends, some of us even going back to elementary school. The best part about it is that most of us have stayed in touch at least yearly. We were able to have visit with Nan & Grandad, but this year we sure did miss Grandma L and the O's. We only got to see a few other family members just briefly but the best part was we got to spend some quality time just as a family. Unfortunately we didn't get to see Lanae until the 23rd. Danger, Dad, Chubbs and Mike & I were able to go snowboarding at Castle on Tuesday the 22nd. It was great!!! I was 6 months pregnant, but I took it really easy. Not only that, but there was so much new snow, it was POWDER PARADISE! Chubbs was a trooper as she hasn't really boarded since Kicking Horse and even then, she only road 1 or 2 runs. It was alot of fun! We also had Brad (Brittany's hubby)and a huge Fairbanks clan come with us. It was great! I wish i could do it more, but I really should be taking it easier. So we went to the pageant and did some of our usual things, like new PJ's and mine we enormous, I think my mom and my sister thought I was going to be giving birth to a hippo, anyway...it was alot of fun and we sure got spoiled, just like we do every year.
We ended up leaving on Boxing which was good, because then we got more time at Peg & Alan's. My mom udnerstood because if she was on the other side she would want us to visit as soon as possible, so that was good. We got to do a whole other Christmas with Peg & Alan, we got to do a game night with alot of Mike's family, not to mention is cousin (or little sister) maggie who now lives in South Carolina. We stopped off at Bree's on our way home, which was great as well!

It was a sweet reunion to our quant little apartment that was at 48 degrees farenheit. That is super cold for us Canadians, but I don't know what exactly! We have had a house of shambles since yesterday when I was finally forced to clean up Christmas for company coming over for the FIESTA BOWL! Go BSU!!! But we had a wonderful game, we brought it!!!

Now Mike & I have tons of research to do as far as moving out to Cleveland and all! So 2010, besides having our sweet little girl in April with all of those adventures to come, is going to be lots of work and lots of fun!

Here are some pics...
