38 Weeks...will she ever arrive???

So the past few weeks have been great! I don't have much to complain about, except...when I had my membranes stripped yesterday, it was really uncomfortable for about 5 seconds. My OB said this is what contractions will feel like, but for much longer. This just made me a bit nervous about this whole delivery thing. Don't get me wrong, I am excited to meet my little girl, but what has got to be done before she is in my arms is the part I am a bit nervous about. Either way, it is coming. I have gotten more uncomfortable these past couple of days and my feet are getting more and more cankley, but Mike was so sweet yesterday and said, very sincerely, "You are a very sexy pregnant lady." It was very sweet and made me feel good, even though, well you know, being huge is tough.
Yesterday was my last day of work, we have almost everything ready to go, just a few more household chores and running around, but otherwise we are ready...well as ready as we can be I guess.
I got my hair done today then Lanae came into town and we pampered ourselves. I got my first pedicure ever, it was wonderful! I also got my nails done. I am feeling super special and ready to deliver. (I need to keep telling myself this)
After running some errands tomorrow, she can come at any time. My induction day is set for 7am on April 2nd, so we will have her a week today FOR SURE!!!
Here is my tummy!

Mom this is a pic of our hair so you can see it!

Lanny in the pedicure massage chair - it was amazing!

36 Weeks and My Baby Shower!!!

Well it has been a busy couple of weeks. Last weekend Mike and I were able to get our stroller and car seat combo from my folks...THANKS SO MUCH MOM & DAD!!! My co-workers at All Seasons threw me an AMAZING baby shower! It was so great, the food was so scrumptious, the decorations were perfect and the guests just couldn't have been better! I was spoiled, well actually, the little girl inside me, got so spoiled! We just have a few more things to get and we are all set, besides getting her room all ready, which has been a long work in progress!
We went to our last Birthing/Hospital class. We got to tour the maternity floor and the labour rooms, we are pre-registered and everything. We still need to get our hospital bag packed, oh and Lanae has to take Maternity photos of me, which will be a blast! I am so thrilled about the next couple of weeks. Mike has made me a labour CD with calming music, what a great "Support Person" I really couldn't do it without him. As you can see by the photos that I am really growing, her limbs are sticking out all over the place. Only 3-4 weeks to go!
Here are some pics...
look at that tummy!!!

I never knew Shannon had such skills, but here are just some, the giant rattle cake, the cupcakes and the adorable baby face cupcakes, not to mention how yummy it all was.

Some of the yummies!

Look at these cupcakes, another one of Shannon's Creations!

This is the AMAZING diaper cake Shannon made me. It is from the whole office. I have never seen anything like it!

Date Night, 34 Weeks and CANADA WINS GOLD!!!

Since our last update lots has gone on. We are getting much closer to having our baby girl. We are really trying to live-it-up before our priorities change. This past weekend we LIVED IT UP! Friday was date night with the Johnson's which had been in the plans for about 3 weeks. We ended up going glow in the dark mini golfing, which I first heard about from nieces and nephews. It was quite the challenge and great scenery. Saturday was the b-ball tourny and then a get together with the old gang from the Village. We had a Soup Fest at the Pooley's home. It was great to catch up with some of our long lost friends. I know we may see them a couple more times before we move to Cleveland, but still, they will always be apart of our Boise memories. It was alot of fun!
Sunday after sacrament was spent with alot of emotion as we watched the CANADA - USA GOLD MEDAL GAME, which ended in Canada's Favor after alot of drama. Oh it was intense and I even had a fellow Canadian, from Cardston over for support. His sweet wife made a Canadian Flag our of Jello, whipcream and strawberries. It was delicious! It was a busy but fun weekend!
This weekend we are going to live it up again, shopping for a stroller and car seat, dinner with the Van Loo's and my Baby shower. I am excited for it all!
Glow in The Dark Mini Golf - what a fun time!
The art work was black light and 3-D. It was done by a 17yr old Canadian, which made it even cooler!
Celebrating our victory with The Simons! You can't tell, but Mike's tie has Maple leaves on it! Thanks for your support hunny, even though your pride was hurt.
Maggie's Canadian Flag, it was devoured.

34 Week Prego Tum-tum, it just keeps getting bigger!

She keeps beating me up, oh the joys!
