My Montage 8/21/10 at OneTrueMedia.com

20 Weeks on the 20th

I had every intention of posting this yesterday, but being a mother and wife should explain why I wasn't able to...none the less here it is...
Our almost 15 pound little bundle of smiles, grunts, tears, whines, poos, tinkles and of course...JOY is 20 weeks old. It is so amazing to blink and voila she has a new skill or talent. I wish we, as humans, kept developing and learning at this rate all through life (not just for the first 2yrs) because lets face it, we would all be geniuses! Lets hope it stays this way for our little lady. Just yesterday she ate rice cereal for the first time, and was a complete natural, she started truly laughing today while we were at JoAnns, not to mention grabbing for her toys and getting them on her first try, talk about hand-eye coordination or what?!?! I think we have a natural athlete on our hands. She is such a riot to have around and is definately keeping her Mommy busy.
Ok, so after this slide show, in the next post is a video of Vienna eating her food, but also,, because i have never done a video before, I got our fury little co-habitants (a family of 4 groundhogs that live under our house) in the video as well. I thought they were going to be seperate videos but it all came out as one jumbo video, sorry. Enjoy :)

CLEVELAND, well actually South Euclid, but close enough

Considering it has been over a month since our last update, it is hard to know where to start....and right now I am having writers block.
Lets see...how about I just catch up using pics, that will be the easiest!

Mike and Alan starting their exodus across the US, with a stop in Utah to pick up Mark and Hyrum. It was only a 26ft truck with the Corolla on a trailer, no biggy.

Peg and Alan were so good to us, they payed our night at a nice hotel in Boise our last night. It was great, it had a pool and Grandma had a good time swimming with Nenna-bean. She loves the water.

Peg and Alan took us out to Eddies and Blue Cow (Of Course!) For our last night in Boise. The Johnson gang also joined us.

Jeff and Laura came over and we got some really cute pics of the kids. Oh how we miss you...

After our departure from Boise, Me and Vienna went with Peggy back to Tri-Cities to say good-bye to our family and friends there. It was a quick 2 days, but Peg had a big family BBQ for us that brought everyone together. The weather was great and it was so nice for Vienna to meet some family for the first time. Her auntie Maggie (not really her auntie, but close enough) made her an adorable quilt, the fabric even had sparkles in it. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of it her Maggie and Vienna either, but here are a few pics from the BBQ...

My cousin Vedder is only 3 months older than me, maybe we'll be kissing cousins. We sure had a good time playing with toys on the floor.

My bestest buddy Bree, whom I will miss terribly, but at least I know she will always be in Tri-Cities, any time we make it back.

Mommy and Vienna hanging out in the backyard.

What a doll!!!

Me with great Grandpa Ace. I sure hope I get to see you again great Grandpa :)

On Monday morning, July 19th Peggy drove Vienna and I to the airport in Spokane. The adventure began, I was a bit worried about being "that person" on the plane that has the crying baby, but luckily I have an angel for a daughter because she slept the entire flight from Spokane to Minneapolis and the whole second flight to Cleveland. It was marvelous. We met Mema at the airport and went to our hotel to sleep after our long day. Here are some pics of our first few days in Cleveland.

Here is Vienna about to sleep in her crib for the first time. She was a little lost at first with all that space, but she is getting the hang of things.

Barb (our sister-in-law) her folks live in Ohio, so 1/2 the family were out visiting them, that is why Mark & Hyrum jumped on board...so they could drive back to Utah with the rest of the family. They came to Cleveland the second day we were here. We went around CASE campus and around Downtown. It was fun for Vienna to visit with her other cousins, too bad they live so far away.

Our big girl in her Bumbo, that she just loves.

Playing at Mentor Headlands Beach, it is so neat to see a lake so big that it looks like an ocean, it is a strange concept and the water temp is quite warm surprisingly.

Mike's dental school holds a White Coat Ceremony for all the students with speeches and reciting of Class of 2014 Oath, and a reception to follow. It was great.
Here is Mike after receiving his White Coat and reciting the Oath. What a stud!

It was in a very old Chapel on Campus, the pews were all wood and hard on the tush, not to mention very echoey, so any noise Vienna made...lets just say it was good she was happy.

Mike in front of the old school chapel, CASE Campus is quite beautiful.

Mike's entire class of 73. Way to go Hun! We are so proud of you!!! You are going to kick some trash babe.

And last and still very least, as there is only 1 completed area of our home, well it's not fully complete because we still don't have any art work up, I will post more as they are completed...if that ever happens...

Here is a full front view of our cute little home.

A close up of the front door and our upstairs.

Standing in the front entrance way.

A better angle of what the entrance way looks like.

Here is was it looks like if I turn around and face the front door, exciting I know..

Looking into the living room and out the window.

Our wonderful couches

Most of the main level is done. All the wall decor needs to be put up and Vienna's room needs some work, but our dining room is mostly done, as is our kitchen and Mike's study. The upstairs where we have our living room/computer room and craft room, have a long way to go and our downstairs, its getting better. We need to paint it and get all of the beds set up for all the visitors we are going to have... right everyone who is reading this.(sorry its so long, I hope to be back much sooner than this next time.) Oh and...Vienna had her first Doctors appt out here today. We were very impressed with her doctor, she seems great!!! She is in the 50 %ile for weight, she is doing well and did good with another set of vaccines.

Thats all for now folks. Ciao!
