New Years, 6 Months Prego and My 29th B-day!!!

So I know I am so behind on everything so here is my EVERYTHING post on my b-day. Let's just say that our 2012 started out 100 times better than last years, as we were in the ER with Vienna last year, so to be in our own home was one of the BEST ways to roll in the New Year for sure!!! We had the Fitzners over for games and snacks. Mike got an old school popcorn popper for Christmas and we tried Jalapeno popcorn with no hint of spiciness at all, so Mike decided he was going to get a big habanero pepper and OH MY GOODNESS!!! It was horrible!!! the cooking part made it spread and we were all coughing, our eyes were watering, Mike had to give himself a mask to finish the job, it was HILARIOUS!!! None the less the popcorn was WaY tO SpiCY!!! We all tried it and I think betweent he 4 of us we drank a whole gallon of milk! We chucked that and made some normal stuff. Good thing we had a few other snack options. Since that time we have tried a big jalapeno but still no flavor at all, so we might try 1/2 a habanero. We also wore silly hats (that is a tradition in Jenny's family) which i think is a fun tradition.

Jenny brought these ones. Mike had a real rose attached to his party hat! oh yeah!

So because I have commitments tonight (good 'ol BUNKO) and Mike has a midterm to study for so we celebrated it last Saturday. We went to a Thai restaurant for lunch, ran some errands, had a yummy salmon dinner and Mike hid all my gifts around the house and I had to find them with clues. There was a store in Washington I discovered that I really liked and it had great prices. Mike bought me some jewellery and girly accessories from there (earrings, a necklace, 2 headbands and a fun chunky bracelet). He also got a chess set for us to play together. Which is what we did that evening and splurged on an ice cream bar. It was a great celebration!!!
Us at the restaurant (which was very good and well priced)
This is my 6 month prego tummy. I am feeling him often and so far things are going really well. the only bummer part is that he is due on the exact day Mike starts his final exam week. What this means is that I will have to be induced a week or so early...again so that he can be there. Unless of course he comes early on his own anyway. Either way, all is looking healthy and great! So that is what really matters.

CHRISTMAS TIME!!!

This year we were able to go back to Washington for Christmas, which was a special treat in and of itself, but we also had our own little Christmas with gifts from and to each other and the gifts from my side of the family. It was fun with Vienna as she quickly picked up the joy of ripping paper off the boxes and finding out whats inside.
Daddy helping her open her little hut to play in! That was the biggest hit!
Her church books for Sacrament meeting from Mema and Papa
Her Elmo, ok maybe he is her favorite...
In her Elmo couch, converted into a bed with her elmo doll and loving all her new goodies.
Every year Mike and I make something for each other, this year I painted Mike this, which he really seemed to like. He loves trees and we keep saying how nice it would be to have some art in our room. He made me a special book rack for Vienna's room. It is the exact design and dimensions of one from pottery barn. It's funny because my gift to him was also pottery barn inspired. This is always so much fun! Probably my favorite part.
Mike got this shirt and a sweet BSU HOODY from my folks.

The rest of the pics are from in Washington and they are not in order at all and there is no rhyme or reason to them, sorry, no time to fix it.
My best buddy Bree with her little boy Bryson. Oh how I miss them.

Grandma with her 2 littlest grand kids, literally the only picture I got of the 2 of them side by side and it was because Vedder didn't know I was taking it.
Vienna opening a present
Playing her recorder that her cousin Vedder gave her. Great music!
Zeffie and Vienna were so adorable together. Girls are just so sweet! Vienna had such a nice time with her cousins.
Christmas afternoon with the family was fun once all the gifts were open.
Auntie Tiki (as Vienna says at least 6 times/day) and Vedder (or butter) as Vienna says.

Vienna loves having books read to her.
Playing our minute to win it games on Christmas Eve. Vienna kicked Vedder's trash!

I realized I didn't have any pictures of Vienna with her Grandpa, which makes me sad because she LOVES to play with her Grandpa and was with him all the time.
A local place had 2 reindeer (comit and cupid) that we went to 3 times to feed them apples. Vienna did great. She loved them but if they got to "in her face" for more apples she'd get a bit nervous. They were so cute!
This little girl was around more TV in this 2 weeks than she probably has been in her whole life. She is eating breakfast with Grandma in front of the TV. Hilarious really.
This one might be one of my favorites, she was able to convince her Uncle Steve to read him a book and considering his facial hair she took to him very well. So cute!!!

We had a great time! finding out that we were having a little man was the first thing we did. Which we are so excited about!!! We were all very spoiled, ate bad but yummy goody's, relaxed and created memories. All the hand-me-downs from Steve and Tiki are the BEST! We love give aways!!!
It was a very Merry Christmas and the traveling was great as well! It went by too quickly for sure!
