Christmas Festivities

We have had a great December and can't believe it will be 2014 so soon!
Here are some of our festivities...
The Nativity Display at the Kirtland visitors is so amazing and special, especially the kids room.

Baking with the Family, its always an adventure.
They turned out pretty good eh!
mema and the kids at the 12 Days of winter at penitentiary glen
Elf Vienna making her toy at Santa's Workshop. She decided to make a Sparkly purple sleigh
Standing by Frosty
Lincoln didn't seem to like Santa at all this year, but he was on his way up all by himself and then Daddy helped him up and I think that is what made him more upset than anything...Mr. Independent. Either way it made for funny pictures.
Vienna really wanted to ride the ponies so how could we pass this up. She has no fear!
Our family at Lehman's in Amish Country
This cute jail cell, turned into an eating spot at Lehmans
Snuggle time with Daddy. Awww!
Papa getting abused by his little Lincoln man
Holding both kids, this might be a more regular occurrence.
A church down the street has a huge Nativity display so we went to look at it, its so nice.
Vienna admiring baby Jesus at the Kirtland sites, how sweet!
Sitting by the Christmas tree, how cute!
Playing in the snow
Vienna's snow angel, Riley. How fun!
We love the snow!

It's Definitely Beginnning to Look Alot Like Christmas...

Decorating for Christmas is always so much fun, even though its so much works and takes over the whole house...I LOVE IT! Here are some of the decos and we actually get to be home this year! Yeah! Thank you baby Everett!

Here is my little Cindy-loo-hoo hair, which I love!
Lincoln loved this car at tot aerobics, I couldnt get him out!
Last but not least and already 1 week old, I only have 3 more weeks to go. Lets just say I hope he waits until after Christmas and preferably in 2014, but either way we'll take him, keep him and love him!

Thanksgiving and Flexhaug's Visit

Thanksgiving in the US is always so much fun! Being a Canadian born and raised and now having lived in the States for 7.5 years I can say that the way they do it down here is so much for fun! I guess for me its that fact that it is always the last Thursday in November and that is when everyone is having Turkey dinner and playing turkey bowl and watching football. But more importantly is Black Friday and the official transition into Christmas. It is so fun! And considering it takes me a week to fully put Christmas up, its good to start earlier so I'm actually ready by Dec 1st. Although that didn't happen this year.

This year we had the pleasure of hosting the Flexhaug's. Lanae and her husband of almost a year (DEc 7th - which is also Mike's B-day) joined us at this holiday season and it was such a blast!!!
We had all types of weather, but it never really got too cold.
Licnoln being snuggly for some reason, but I'll take it!
The boys on their return home from Turkey-Bowl. No injuries...Thank heavens!
Vienna's line of toys that are all watching a show
Every year since we have been here we have participated in a pot-luck Thanksgiving dinner at the church where all of us who are students and without family get together and celebrate. It was a blast like usual and so nice to not have to cook an entire meal for 4 adults. However this is our last year doing it, so that means either LOTS of WORK next year or we might be close enough to go to Mike's folks (let's hope its the latter - I'm not sure if I'm ready for all the work). There is always tons of food, HORSE or PIG, kids running around and usually games.
It couldn't have been better
The kids really liked this spot!
In my attempt to take a candid shot of the boys playing ball, this is what I got...scary!
Trev's got the ball, you should have seen the dunk he did right after this picture. LOL
Friday morning was getting Christmas out and boy did the kids have fun, but it sure makes more work. That's the point though...letting them help.
The kids had a great time with Auntie Nae and Uncle Trev. Every morning the first thing Vienna would ask was "Can I go see Auntie Nae and Trev?"
Lincoln warmed really quickly too!
I loved this outfit and had to get a shot of it
This was as good as I could get of the 2 of them
Thanksgiving decorations before we began the transition
Until next year!
Lanae was so good to us and not only took Family pics but also my Maternity photos, to which I am so grateful! How adorable is this shot!
We are ready for a fun filled December and then winding down with another baby arriving. Can you believe I only have 4 weeks left! AWWWW! and YAY!!! all at the same time.
