What a weekend! It was actually 4 days long!!! YEAH!!! It bagan with Silverwood on thursday up in Athole Idaho. By the time we arrived wed night the kids were already in bed. :( The park was great. It was a bit too breezy to do the water park so we just did the rollercoasters and other rides. The worst part of the day was Mike's attack from a bee. It came out of no where. There is a good picture of the sting below. Friday was filled with playing, wrestling, going to the park, more wrestling and then Cool Desert Nights at Uptown in Richland. Perfect weather and delicious blizzards. Saturday was farewell for some of us, but we got to visit with our good friends Bree, Trason & Bryson. We stopped by at Granpa Ace's and got to run into alot of familiar faces and do some garage saling. It was a great weekend!!!

Camping
This is going to have to be just a quick little post, we headed up and did a little camping this last weekend with some friends. We had a great site right on the river and it was just so nice to be able to get away for a night and relax in a place with no cell phone service. We went up with two other couples, the Van Loos and Mowers. It rained on us for the first couple hours but not enough to keep us from being outside. To be honest we didn't really do anything, but sit around the fire and talk, but that is exactly what we needed right now, just a break from everything. Eth is still working and enjoying it, and I'm just plugging away doing research, so as far as that goes not too much exciting in our lives. We are preparign for about a month of travel and goofing off, so stay tuned for more posts.

A Blur of a Week...
It all began about 15mins after we arrived in Nampa for Jack's 1st Birthday. Mike was ready for a much needed break from studying for the DAT and was to be taking it the following morning. My phone rang and it was a 208 unknown number. Normally I do not answer, but for some reason this time I did. It was my Dad. He was calling to let us know that he was outside our apartment door. We were shocked as he wasn't suppose to be arriving until the next evening. For those of you who don't know, my Dad rode his Bike from Calgary to Boise. (I know we all think he is a bit crazy and may have an addiction to adrenalin, he may have to start attending AA). The apartment was locked and we didn't want to drive back from Nampa. To make a long story short he got in to our apartment, got keys to my car, got directions and came to crash Jack's B-day party. His stories were great he was burnt and worn down. It was fun to hang with our friends and enjoy the outdoors in the pool.
That began our week of madness. My dad was given some assignments while Mike was taking his DAT and I went to Kelly Ensminger's baby shower. We are looking forward to meeting little Logan. Mom & Chubbs joined the party and it was go-go-go from that point on. I worked all 5 days, which took up alot of visiting time, but Chubbs' graduation was great, we went hiking up at Bogus, went to Tucano's, did lots of shopping and running around.
They left just in time on saturday for Mike and I to attend our wards Pine Wood Derby. (For you Canadians it is a Cub Car Rally). I had never been to one and apparently was never around when Dane was doing his. We bought a coping saw (a little hand saw) and went to town. luckily I had my dad do most of mine and it was just the basic design from the box. You will not believe it but...I won the entire thing. I honestly could not believe it, especially because when we showed up there was some serious talent going on. The paint was still wet even.
Now we are starting another week. Mike is officially done with all his application stuff, as long as things get to where they are suppose to go and I am still trying to get our house in order after the whirlwind.
