August is quickly leaving us...

It's so fun to have changes in seasons and I love to decorate for every season and holiday, its just so much fun. At the same time I like each season to live its full life. I feel like summer has been bombarded with back to school advertisements for 2 Months...Come one. It really puts a damper on it. However, as soon as Sept First arrives I will bust out all my Fall decor. My leaves and scarecrows, spicy scentsy scents and all that great stuff. I am VERY ready to have a routine and have a chance for Vienna to have her social time at pre-school, that she has so desperately missed, for me to spend more 1 on 1 time with my little Linc's man while Everett has his morning nap and to run errands with only 2 kids, instead of 3 (headache just thinking about it. lol) However, we are definitely holding on to summer for as long as we can!
 Oh the love!
My littlest boy in a big boy booster!
 Such a handsome dude!
Vienna got to go on a Daddy daughter date and pick out anything from a cupcake store and this is what she picked...she looks happy about it!
This is a Jerusalem Cricket (aka potato bug) it is about 1.5 inches in length and a cross between a cricket, grasshopper, bee, beetle. It is the weirdest looking thing.
 playing at the park!
We made banana bread together to give to some neighbors, friends and us. YUM!
Decorating B-day cards for Willa, J who turned 1
best buddies. I know Lincoln will miss her while she is at pre-school.

The next few pictures I need to preface...
Here in Pasco, we have to haul our recycling, which is a pain and adds to our daily chores, but I can't bring myself to just throw items away, so we decided to pack into the truck, take the load in and then head to DQ for ice cream. Those kiddos were jammed in the mini second row, as you will see.
loading up...
Here they are, jammed. too funny! Lincoln was in heaven!
We decided to be super white trash and eat in the bed of the truck.
It was such a fun time and great memories were made.
 The whole gang.
We may have started a new end of summer tradition of getting ice cream, eating in the bed and making an absolute sticky mess of everything and then going through the car wash right after. However, the kids will never get the red, white and blue popsicles again. It will be dilly bars next time or plain old ice cream.

Last but not least, we got to attend Willa's 1st B-day pool party a Beuchler's. It was a blast, complete with a pinata, cake smash and good food!
It was the never ending pinata, but the kids had fun!

poor Everett had a fever and wasn't feeling so hot the whole time but was a trooper. Here he is gnawing on a bone from the ribs that were served.
party hats were enjoyed, as were the noise makers, which will never be at any of my kids parties.
 Vienna with her Grandpa
 Me snuggling my fever bug.
 cake smash time!
So I forget my swimsuit and because Terry has had her pool for ages she has an entire tote of random swimsuits, so I got to wear the cheetah with the camo. I was hot stuff for sure!
Pinata time! It was the never ending pinata but the kids had a blast! They were really good at swinging away.

Vienna with the Birthday girl! She sure loves having her cousins close by.
Happy Birthday Willa!

McAllister Family Reunion!!!

We had such a fun time visiting with family and friends up in Calgary. Despite having no sleep, because my kids just simply wouldn't all sleep through the night simultaneously, I was up every night at least twice. Perhaps it was a different place but you'd never believe that at home I usually sleep all night with maybe an interruption 1 or twice in a week. Either way, being sleep deprived, I think I managed okay and we still were able
Here we are, ready for the long trip up...

This was an absolute must, although I feel like Lincoln was such a zombie from being in the car so long, that the ginormous truck, didnt have quite the same effect on him.

Either way it was a fun photo op
This is one of my favorite pics of the whole trip (which I didn't get enough at all so please send them my way) for so many reasons. This is the perfect Grandma, granddaughter activity. Vienna loves to bake things and my Mom allowed her to be her 4 year old self which can be tough at times, especially in the kitchen and they both look so cute! Such a special memory.
After all the big festivities while I was hanging out for the rest of the week, I was able to catch up with a few good friends. Here is Kim and I with all our kiddos. So fun!
This is the essence of each day. Playing in the backyard, hanging out.
blowing up water balloons and not getting too frustrated with Lincoln and Vienna popping them just as fast as you fill them. Ps- Love this pic of Vienna and her Auntie Nae
This is it...the hang out with so many babies!
So fun to meet Leo and Parker!
Everett and Parker were so fun to watch together. They are only 5 weeks apart and were rolling/sitting on top of each other on the floor all the time and we had tub time together.
It was so fun to have them in the tub just playing and loving life.

Our abode while we were there. It was truthfully the perfect place for our family. The rooms were divided nicely and it was cozy and gave us our own space. We LOVED it. Plus we had electricity, water and our own patio lights to really make it feel homey.

Aarika's kids and my kids hanging out inside once the rain came
Us with our kiddos...such good times to see my friends again.
Vienna with her "cousins" Josephine and Dorothy. Unfortunately Sonia and the girls couldn't come up until basically our last day here, which means we were all super sleep deprived and warn down, so I was draging and it was by far my worst night with my children EVER so that made the following day even more difficult, but despite that, I am so glad we got to see each other and for the girls to play together and have a sleep over. Sonia and I do this every time we are together, but we always forget to get a picture of ourselves together or with our kids. Its quite sad really. At least we got these cuties though.

Ben and Shelby filled these water balloons for us and did a great job! Such a fun water fight.
The two boys at it on the floor.
So one night there were 2 great horned owls (we think great horned) out in the back yard. It was amazing to see them this close and watch them. It's such a treat to live where they do.
 Of course the lawnmower ride...
Lincoln truthfully couldnt get enough of the lawn mower and kept wanting to do more.
Me with my sweet, and oh so tiring little kiddos.
Thanks to my little Linc's man when he woke up from a nap, he decided to mark his territory before gracing us with his presence in the house. Oh boy, gotta love 2 year old boys.

blowing raspberries gets messy sometimes, doesn't it Everett.
The best part about fires at Mema & Papa's are smores made with Chocolate covered digestive cookies. Heck Yes!
They loved swimming in the hot tub.
Vienna and Dorothy being their cute selves.
My shield from Ben. It was a serious water fight
Jumping on the tramp.
Despite the fact that Lincoln was even more of a terrible two year old than normal because he was so sleep deprived and out of his element, we still had a marvelous time and look forward to another adventure up at Mema and Papa's next summer, if we can make it work out.
OH CANADA!!!
