June has been so fun!

June started off with a baby shower! A miracle, long awaited baby girl named Rondi! She is my dear friend Bree's little lady and I'm glad I could help and be close to honor her.
pink and grey were the colors she picked

It was a full house!
The Mama to be! She came exactly a week after the shower.

I tried to get us in our Sunday best, I got most of us.
This cute little lady is such a joy to have around and growing up so much.
Here is most of the crew
Look at this handsome stud!

Our next journey for June was our Boise Friend Reunion...I am so grateful for Laura for initiating and carrying this through and even though not everyone was able to be there we had 4 families reunite.
Emery's hosted everyone for a BBQ to start out the adventure...it was a blast and so sweet of them!
Our first day we went to lagoon and it was a blast! Tiring but a blast.
Linc's loved the bumper cars
Vienna and Luke
Everett was a trooper and rode lots of rides alone
this was a fast ride!
riding the gondola with all 3 kids alone was a bit nerve wracking, but it was fun
so many kids, but so much fun!
The older kiddos
airplane ride fun!
boat riding!
most of the adults, missing Jeff and Me
Lincoln actually fell asleep in the stroller...A MIRACLE!! and such a blessing!
fighter Linc's
train ride fun!
Vienna and Chase were good buddies and rode almost all the rides together
Vienna and Chase boats

The next day we went to the Hogle Zoo and then swam at the hotel
then on Sunday we went to Temple square and that was awesome. We all had completely exhausted, over tired children but we managed to make it.
This is probably my favorite family photo and its actually a good one. Christ really is our everything!
cute kids at Temple square
a close up in front of the temple
kids at the reflection pond
You can almost see the whole temple
goofy faced kids
In the tabernacle

The rest of the pics are random ones from out trip
eating our yummy fancy breakfast
Here is our only group shot and we are missing the Pooley's, next time we have to get a group shot with everyone! There were 14 children and 8 adults. We did it! 5 years later and 9 more kids, but we did it!
hotel fun! Our room was so big and nice. Had such a great stay!
I tried to be super prepared and have gifts/snacks to open every hour or so and it worked pretty good, especially for my first time.

The next pics are from when we got home
A bath in the pool...why not!
We made a penguin world and watch Happy feet and will make a penguin craft this week.

It was funny, but our Utah family came up while we were in Utah, so we missed them a bit but at least got to spend some time with them. Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's
Everett loves this car
We went to the splash pad and Lincoln was in heaven!
I couldn't get him to leave!
Everett just wanted to be with Mama, which is great with me
Vienna loved playing with her older cousins. Ezra played so good with his much younger cousins.
Vienna thought Zeffie was the best for drawing so many pics in her sketch book.
So glad they came up for a visit.
cousins in the fountain!
It has been a wonderful June so far, much busier than I expected but that always seems to be the case. I know that our Utah trip looks perfect but I must note that there was VOMIT....AGAIN. It was pretty much exactly like Disneyland, minus the diarrhea and instead of me getting sick it was Mike this time. It started with Everett 4 days before we left, he vomited the longest and the last time was on our drive to Boise. Our kids slept fine that night but in the morning Vienna started puking about 8:30am and puked that whole day until about dinner, Lincoln started vomiting about 3pm and he kept going until about midnight that night in the hotel. Mike was nauseous and felt yucky the whole day at lagoon and vomited that night. Once he was done it ended, so we were mostly puke free for the important days, but SERIOUSLY????????? What the heck. I was so worried about getting our friends and their kids sick, but luckily that didnt happen either. Miracle!
I can't wait for our reunion next summer too!

May in a Nutshell

May is such a wonderful month! With Spring fully here and the transition to flipflops complete, May brings closure to a season. Vienna finished and graduated from preschool (who knew you couldn't graduate...lol)
brother time on the box, why not?
Our friends Brad and Brittany invited us to their Cinco De Mayo party. It was fun!
This was my last time with just him, now it will have to be all of them...yikes!
This was a fun date with my boys!
Vienna is so good at reminding us that there is a girl in the house, and we love it!(and our yellow piano)
painting and lots of it!
Popsicles on the playground with Mom for Mother's Day, was so nice!
Vienna and Everett have this cute little bond and I think its just because Vienna can play with him better than Lincoln can at the age of 3.
Our FHE activity!

We decided to take a spur of the moment overnight trip to Portland where we visited IKEA of course and the Zoo. We had a really great time and the kids did pretty good for no naps.
V on the horse
The boys on the horse..oh my they are handsome!
A FAMILY PHOTO...WHAT???? NO WAY???!! How did that happen????
Dramamine I love you, it helps even Vienna to fall asleep on me, I love it!
Considering I had done no prep, they travelled pretty good!
Seeing the bald Eagles was so neat.
Being in the Eagles nest was cool as well.
driving the safari jeep

Vienna's preschool class went to the Firestation and the boys got to come along. They had such a fun time!
In the truck
By the big firetruck!
The whole gang! They were the nicest guys ever.
These helmets are HUGE and HEAVY!

The best part was our visit with Mema and Papa, who love us enough to just come visit for no specific reason. We got to swim a lot, eat yummy food, go to a BBQ at Steve and Tiki's, play 500 and chat. Despite Lincoln having a meltdown tantrum everyday, it was perfect. Once they left he has been much better. Don't get me wrong he still has moments everyday, its not hours of tears and repeating the same thing over and over. He is such a sweet boy, but definitley has some "ISMS",,,I'm sure its his age.
He L-o-v-e-d his jetski and would not get off or share with anyone, hence the reason we own 2 now.
Love the goggles and play time, the kids are getting so good at swimming too! YAY!
We got to go on an adult only date!!! It was AH-MAZING. Uptown to shop followed by dinner at Fujiyama for hibachi, it was so fun!

What was also special was that Vienna was able to have both sets of grandparents at her graduation and let me tell you, this preschool (yes preschool) graduation did not disappoint. Who knew. There were programs, songs, sign language, walking across the stage with music and everything, it was adorable. Of course there was an after-party at Shakey's as well. (this is preschool, just in case you were wondering) We had a nice time and this little girl did so great signing her name in from of everyone and beating with sticks to the beat. She said she wanted to be a "princess ballerina fairy" when she grows up.
My oh my this little lady, our first little lady is 5 already and entering the public school system. She is such a pleasure and joy to have around. Love you sweet girl!
Cute kids!

Graduation Hat headband, that she didnt want to wear at all :(
The boys loving it out side, it was a full and hot packed house.
Mema and Lincoln at Shakeys

Steve and Tiki were so wonderful and invited us over for a BBQ and was SO nice to watch the kids play so well together and to just hang out. We loved it!

These 2 girls are both so girly and sweet! I love this picture.
cousin fun!

Each day is a blessing and things are getting SO much better. I have simply accepted my husbands schedule and my ward dynamics, I've opened up and been completely honest with those around me about how trying this year has been. May 23rd was our 1 year mark and things have come a long way. We have been blessed with wonderful neighbors, a great community, the perfect preschools and we are learning and growing in unexpected ways both as a couple and a family. I know we have much to learn and take from this past year, but I'm glad to put it back there and move forward to a FRESH year here in Pasco.
