Almost a Month has gone by??? The story of life...

Well we finished off January in great spirits! We got a spur of the moment visit from Mema and Papa on the 31st, which is always such a fun treat... that sad part about that is I don't have one picture of the visit :( Mom if you have any please send them to me ;)
Just before they came Mike thought it would be fun to make a fort and sleep in it with the kids.
Boy did they think that was the funnest thing ever, especially because we busted out our brand new sleeping bags for camping this summer. All in all they slept pretty good.
story and snuggle time in the fort!

Linc's Bag
Vienna's bag

We do lots of activities and crafts around here. It's what keeps us all happy and sane.
We made crazy picture frames. It was quite the hit!

She had seahawk Friday at preschool!

Speaking of that, my folks were here for the superbowl! Which was a super game until the very end and then we all wanted to cry. Either way, it was fun to be here in the state to celebrate and you couldn't find skittles anywhere!

The kid's favorite part was eating skittles everytime we scored a touchdown. So fun, despite the tragic loss.

Another activity that the kids loved...pom poms, clothespins and containers...at least 30mins of fun.

Bree and I try to get together and do a craft with our kids. We made it happen again...
plate heart hats. It was fun for everyone!

This is my baby smoothie monster...too cute and messy.

Valentines parties at preschool...
These kids had so much fun at their parties and got SO much candy. It was like halloween all over again.
Lincoln's envelope!
One of Vienna's and these were packed!
We had to make heart cookies and decorate them...so fun!
A rainbow heart of course!

Valentines day was busy, but very nice. It began with a goodbye breakfast for Maggie and the kids at Old Country Buffet.
Linc with Grandpa
Vienna with Grandma
My blue eyed babe!
Vienna got flowers delivered to the door from her Prince Daddy and she was beyond stoked! She allowed me to use them for our special dinner setting and then they were up in her room.
We got them a little something to share the love with them.
For some reason these pics are loading sideways, anyway this was the kids lunch on V-day.
Eating some of their loot and having Valentine's soothers!
Homemade chicken noodle soup with carrot hearts! Aww!
We're so glad Grandma and Grandpa could join us!

Spinach salad with heart strawberries, Heart shaped roasted potatoes, heart shaped bread sticks
I had lots of help setting up and decorating our table. It was lots of fun!
We had a great Valentines day as a family and as a couple...shopping walmart super clearance. lol.

Just a few other random things...
I went into Vienna's room one morning to find this and I asked her what this was all about and she said
"It was so I didn't feel lonely in my room" (she has had a tough time sleeping in her room lately)
Water tea party time. It was good until Everett dumped out the huge bucket of water. good times either way!
Even though February is almost over, the month of LOVE has been full!
EEK!!! ONLY 1 MORE MONTH UNTIL OUR DISNEYLAND TRIP!!!
