Easter, Garage Sale and Lincoln's Birthday with Bowling and the Zoo

I always intend to blog events separately and not combine them all into one post, however these past 2 Months have been the busiest we have had since the few Months before our wedding. Considering all of these events have taken place over 8 days, I don't feel so bad.
Last weekend was Easter and it couldn't have been better weather for such a special holiday. We started out the weekend by dyeing eggs, which the kids loved. On Sunday we had a nice lesson on the meaning of Easter and they took to it very well. They also loved the goodies the Easter bunny brought and their new outfits too (Thanks Grandma Peggy :) Church was overflowing with several people and Vienna got to go up in sacrament meeting and sing "When He Comes Again" which she loved doing. After nap time we did an Easter egg hunt and spent our time outdoors enjoying the Spring air.

Then we spent the following weekend with a garage sale on Friday and Saturday. who knew we had so much stuff. Friday was rainy and we only had 7 people show-up, but 4 made purchases and we made $50. Saturday was sunny. It was windy and a bit chilly but perfect. We met so many awesome people and sold so many things. We made over $250.00 so it was well worth it.
Here is some of our stuff, for memory sake.

Saturday was actually Lincoln's birthday and besides that Vienna had a Birthday party to attend, so it was busy, but we also thought we would squeeze a celebration for him and eat a Mc D's (which never happens) and go bowling. It was lots of fun and we were lucky enough to have Tali join us and our friends the Fitzners.

Sunday morning was when we actually celebrated Lincoln's B-day with the usual things.Like waking up to lots of balloons in his room, opening presents, cake (snowballs) and blowing out 2 candles. He was spoiled just like miss Vienna was and we are very grateful for that. Here is a few pics from the celebration.
His sign
His loot pre-opened
Vienna helping him open them all...
His loot post opened, minus his sweet present from Mema and Papa that is so nicely packaged in a box and ready for our move that he will get to open it out there in a couple of weeks.

The Zoo was also apart of celebrating our little Linc's man. It was the perfect day...not hot but not cold and it started to drizzle right as we were about to leave, so it was perfect!

We had a great time for our last Visit to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

Now just a bit about my sweet Lincoln.
At 2 years old he is such a chill, sweet little boy. He loves trains, trucks, cars, tractors and construction equipment but at the same time knows all the names of the princesses, loves Frozen and can sing let it go along with Vienna. He is a boy as much as he can be with an older sister. He still loves his snuggles and sucks his thumb to sooth himself to sleep. He takes naps really well, loves bath time and has so much vocabulary that is new every day it boggles our minds. He talks a bunch and is like a parrot as he repeats everything. He really enjoys playing hide and seek, doing crafts, singing/music, reading books and playing outside. The other day we were out there playing and he came running to Mike and I with a dried up worm and with great concern said, "Wormy die" over and over. How does he even know what that means? He has made up his own word for the color orange, it is orangey, but sounds more like orgy, so don't be alarmed anyone. We are still waiting for his 2 year old molars to show up and if they could wait until after our exodus across country that would be amazing, as we already have lots going against us with time changes, hotel rooms, time in the car etc.  He is very good at sharing if you ask nicely and can be a bit mischievous but overall really good. We sure having our sweet Little Lincoln Man around and can't wait for this year of twos....

HAPPY DAY!!!

TODAY IS A SUPER HAPPY DAY IN OUR HOME...MIKE PASSED THE WREBS!!! He is so relieved and we are really feeling our last few weeks here coming to a close. So sad but our new adventure is very exciting.
Here is our sweet little 3 Month old Everett. He is such a happy little boy. Lately he has been loving sucking on his hands and pulling things up to his face. I love his smiles and giggles. He still is a little chunk-a-munk and its awesome. He loves watching his siblings move about him and when they give him lots of attention he seems to like it and does really well handling it.
I can't wait for him to have his own room. Only 44 more days.
This cute girl dressed herself in shorts on a pretty cold day, but was determined to prove her parents that she wouldn't get cold. She did quite well.
Despite the fact that he is doing something he is definitely something he shouldn't be doing, he looks too cute doing it. Look at that innocent face.
How blessed we are. Look at these sweet little kiddos
Telling us there is a basketball on Everett's shirt
How handsome are these 2 boys.
My little Linc's monster has been really attached to his snuggles. I'm pretty sure it has to do with our home being packed up and knowing there is a big change on the horizon and he just had a baby brother show up a few Months ago. He has adjusted really well and is a really sweet little boy. His vocabulary has really taken off and it is so fun to see his little personality come out.
Our next 6 weeks have some serious work ahead but also lots of fun and exciting changes.

Vienna is 4 years old!!!

Celebrating Vienna's 4th Birthday this year was so much fun! She was so thrilled about the whole idea. Luckily she picked a rainbow theme, which I loved. All the colors are so uplifting and bring the Spring fever, but most importantly it is very easy to find supplies and use a variety of things from around the house, so it didn't cost a fortune. For her actually birthday on Wednesday we put a whole bunch of balloons on her floor so she woke up to a balloon room and we opened presents from Grandparents and Mom and Dad, all before pre-school.
Vienna's room. She is in her bed sleeping.
preping for the party
more prep
Her face is so serious, but we played with rainbow playdoh that day
we painted rainbow toes
Cinderella dress : G-ma and G-pa
Every single gift from family was Disney. Unbelievable how much money they make off of us (and everyone)

Frozen : G-ma and G-pa
(this is one of my favorite pics. It captures her wild morning hair, her adorable smile, her girly nighty and Everett just chilling in the background)
Little Mermaid dress : Mom & Dad
It lights up and sings
Frozen book and CD : Mema and Papa
Frozen mini dolls: Mema and Papa
Big Anna doll : G-ma & G-pa

On Friday night and Saturday morning we got the decorating done...again it was a blast.

Luckily I had all these colors in my paper stash.
Her rainbow dress with rainbow hair (the hair lasted like 10mins)
This was my favorite decoration...a rainbow of streamers on the front window!
This cake was a big hit, with chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, everything got eaten especially the birthday cake icing with rainbow sprinkles.
I love borrowing a table from the church. Its the only way to do it.
I had to put something on our bare walls from packing.
rainbow streamers craft
rainbow candy necklaces
our birthday girl who had to go potty
our birthday girl fully relieved
Our first few guests..Grace and Evelyn.
Kelly was very excited to give Vienna her My Little Pony gift
Zoey was in the background.
From the outside you could see our rainbow window and the balloons had rainbow colors as well.

Our little Vienna girl as of now:
- She is very much a girly girl and always must wear a dress or skirt
- Has recently started watching and enjoying the old school spider man
- She is a great helper and is really getting good at make believe and playing with Lincoln really well
- She can't stop loving her little prince, Everett.
- Touching faces is still an issue
- She gets fired up easy (which definitely comes from me...sad to say :(
- Waking up to go potty at least once is still pretty common
- She can do zippers up all by herself
- playing with friends is her favorite and has no attachment issues at all
- her favorite toys are her mini princesses or her naked barbie dolls
- She remembers everything, so be careful what you say
- we are trying to teach her about stranger danger
- She still isn't a great eater, but its getting better.
- She still has quiet time, which is so important for Mommy ;)
- Her hair has never been cut
- Her feet are size 9 and she wears average size clothes (4T)
- She sure loves her Daddy and is a total Daddy's girl
- She really enjoys her swim lessons at the YMCA
All in all our little Vienna teaches us so much each day and we are so blessed to have her in our family. We wouldn't have so much emotion flying around without her as both her brothers and her Dad are very chill.
We love you little V!
