Long Time No Time...we are parents now and new ones at that!
Since our last post lots has happened obviously. As most of you know, baby Vienna was born on April 2nd at 8:23 pm. She was 7lbs 5oz and 19.5 inches long. She was super healthy and continues to be. Labor went really well and was such a unique experience. Being parents is something you can't explain until you are one. Life has been so busy since our sweety was born. She is growing like a weed, in fact at her 2 week check, she was only 7lbs 3oz, so she still wasn't her birth weight, but she was 20.5inches, which means she is in the 95 percentile for height but only 25 percentile for weight. We have a long gangly girl on our hands, just like her daddy. Her personality is beginning to take shape more and more each day. She is a very good baby, for the most part is very content and we are learning how she works. There are lots of firsts for us and are enjoying all the new experiences being a parent is.
This last weekend we went down to Twin Falls and met with Mike's brothers and their wives and kids. It was fun because it was the first time that any of them got to meet little Vienna, and to see all of our nephews and niece. It was great to see everyone as it might be a while with us moving to Cleveland in a few months. Just to give you an idea of how long our little munchy is, her feet are as long as her 3.5 month old cousin Vedder's feet are. Wowsers!
Mike graduates in 3 weeks and and we'll be off to Calgary for a week, then we'll be starting to prepare to move to Cleveland. Ethney will be going back to work until she moves and daddy will be a stay-at-home-daddy. What a great bonding experience for them, mommy is very jealous! Here are some recent pics...
We decided to have our sweet Vienna blessed on April 11th, just 9 days after she was born because we had family from both sides in town. Thanks to Grandma Peggy, We had a beautiful premie blessing dressn that fit her quite well. Isn't she just precious!

39 Weeks!
Well our sweet little bundle is still inside, enjoying her home in my uterus. Unfortunately for her, she will be coming tomorrow and we are all very anxious to meet her. She seems completely content in there. The wierdest part is, is that my body is ready. I am dilated 3-4mm, 80% effaced and my cervix is soft, which all says I am ready, yet I am still not contracting, well that is not true. I am contracting just not hard enough to make it count though. Either way our sweet little bundle will be here tomorrow. We are so excited to meet her as is her Me-ma who came down about 5 days earlier to be here. Here is to the last blog until our family is officially 1 person bigger!
