Last weekend was Easter and it couldn't have been better weather for such a special holiday. We started out the weekend by dyeing eggs, which the kids loved. On Sunday we had a nice lesson on the meaning of Easter and they took to it very well. They also loved the goodies the Easter bunny brought and their new outfits too (Thanks Grandma Peggy :) Church was overflowing with several people and Vienna got to go up in sacrament meeting and sing "When He Comes Again" which she loved doing. After nap time we did an Easter egg hunt and spent our time outdoors enjoying the Spring air.

Then we spent the following weekend with a garage sale on Friday and Saturday. who knew we had so much stuff. Friday was rainy and we only had 7 people show-up, but 4 made purchases and we made $50. Saturday was sunny. It was windy and a bit chilly but perfect. We met so many awesome people and sold so many things. We made over $250.00 so it was well worth it.
Here is some of our stuff, for memory sake.

Sunday morning was when we actually celebrated Lincoln's B-day with the usual things.Like waking up to lots of balloons in his room, opening presents, cake (snowballs) and blowing out 2 candles. He was spoiled just like miss Vienna was and we are very grateful for that. Here is a few pics from the celebration.
His sign
His loot pre-opened
Vienna helping him open them all...
The Zoo was also apart of celebrating our little Linc's man. It was the perfect day...not hot but not cold and it started to drizzle right as we were about to leave, so it was perfect!
We had a great time for our last Visit to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
Now just a bit about my sweet Lincoln.
At 2 years old he is such a chill, sweet little boy. He loves trains, trucks, cars, tractors and construction equipment but at the same time knows all the names of the princesses, loves Frozen and can sing let it go along with Vienna. He is a boy as much as he can be with an older sister. He still loves his snuggles and sucks his thumb to sooth himself to sleep. He takes naps really well, loves bath time and has so much vocabulary that is new every day it boggles our minds. He talks a bunch and is like a parrot as he repeats everything. He really enjoys playing hide and seek, doing crafts, singing/music, reading books and playing outside. The other day we were out there playing and he came running to Mike and I with a dried up worm and with great concern said, "Wormy die" over and over. How does he even know what that means? He has made up his own word for the color orange, it is orangey, but sounds more like orgy, so don't be alarmed anyone. We are still waiting for his 2 year old molars to show up and if they could wait until after our exodus across country that would be amazing, as we already have lots going against us with time changes, hotel rooms, time in the car etc. He is very good at sharing if you ask nicely and can be a bit mischievous but overall really good. We sure having our sweet Little Lincoln Man around and can't wait for this year of twos....
