I have been back in Boise since May 14th and have been so anxious to share my wonderful date that Mike planned for me, but it has been so busy I can't even believe it. So I flew in Thursday night around 11pm and had to work the next day early so we just went to bed. That night Mike told me that we were going to do something fun after work so if I got off early to let him know. I got in the shower and when I came out Mike had gotten up and made me breakfast with delicious blackberries, strawberries and pineapple. He had also made me a lunch. Work was going well, I'd worked at this office 2 times before. When I got in my car at the end of the day, There was a big note from Mike on the seat that read, "Put on these clothes before you leave the office, don't go home for any reason and come meet me at Julia Davis Park near the friendship Bridge (he also drew a map). I went back into the office and changed. On my way in my new finger shoes (which I love dad, thank you) and the Tie Dye Shirt Mike had made for me while I was gone, I was ready to enjoy the warm weather. I parked and walked to Julia Davis to find Mike at a picnic table. He had made a picnic for us (yummy turkey sandwiches, potate and Macaroni salads, Tim's chips and, some fruit) it was so delicious, while we ate we played a question game asking deep questions back and forth. (Which we need to do because of our horrible scores in the Celestial Companion Game, we lose everytime, its quite sad.) After doing this for a while he just gets up and says "lets go" as we are walking away he hands me a clue and here it begins... #1. Where we saw DCFC, the largest wall with writing on it. (I had to figure all the clues out, we had to walk to each location and at that location Mike would give me a letter, for example; The location to #1 was the Morrison Center, so once I found the largest wall he said "2nd word, 2nd letter" which is an 'E'. #2. This is where BSU Grows Plants that shouldn't grow here. Look for the smoking monster. (This is the greenhouses and there was a sticker on them that said 'priority mail' and it was 1st word, 3rd letter an 'I' #3. The only real coffee place on campus. (starbucks, 8th letter...a 'K' #4. The only abstract art you husband thinks is cool on campus, When at the statue, look at the back corner of the building nearby. Between that corner and the large pine tree are some old wooden posts, look there for your fourth letter to finish this clue. (There were these old posts that says bikes, so my letter was a 'B' and a play on words, because if you unscramble the letters it spells "BIKE" Mike had boughten me a sweet cruiser Bike with his book return money and it was locked up right there. I had no idea it was mine, he also had a bike for him locked up too. I was so excited as I had been saying I wanted one since our first summer here. I guess he got way more back than he thought he would. He even had to put it all together. Here is a picture... Ok, the seat is so comfy with springs under it, the fenders and chain guard are classic and it even says Cranbrook on it, the color is sweet, all it is missing is a big 'ol basket on the front. Then there was a second round, so he handed me another clue and we were off but this time on bikes. #1. The only odd colored one of these in the nation. (Bronco Stadium of course, 1st word, 1st letter...'B' #2. Where we pay when we go to where Krista works, look for the bright green sign. (This was the zoo and the sign said "summer" on it, 3rd letter which is an 'M' #3. Ansel Adams is there currently I believe. This was the "Art Museum", 1st word, 1st letter, an 'A' #4. The source of creation from hookah to broncos wearing braces. (FedEx Kinko's, Mike and I have spent lots of time there for school projects with our buddy Josh Stierer, it was 1st word, 4th letter so an 'X' #5. Live at 5 happens here in the summer, the building where I worked once. (This was The Boise Center on the Grove, Last word, 3rd letter which is an 'O' #6. I love the Ceaser. (This took me a minute, but it was Pita Pit, we love this place. First and Second Word, 2nd letter...'I' #7. Where the good witch works. This one is funny, Mikes counselor is Glenda and we refer to her as the good witch from Wizard of Oz, as she has been so helpful to Mike. (the location was the Health Science Building, 1st word, 4th letter...'L' So these are the letters I had to work with B-M-A-X-O-I-L I had no idea what that was, I first of all got Imax and some extra letters, then with a few more hints I got it... MAIL BOX, so thats where we headed. The evening had already been so fun, I had no idea what could be instore. In the mailbox was a certificate that read... "SPA TREATMENT" This certificate entitles the holder to one complete spa treatment absolutely free. Offer valid Friday Night, May 15th,09. Go immediately to the spa treatment, address below. It was our address. I was so giddy to see what this entailed. HeHeHe. When I came in there were sheets seperating the living room from the foyer and another sheet covering the kitchen. There was yummy scents and as I was asked to put on a robe the ambiance of candles and nature sounds was being set. The first room was the cricket room, where my skin was exfoliated with a sponge. The second room was the Jungle room and it was the most adventurous. My face was first moisturized by a 1/2&1/2 cream, then after washing that off I had a citrus steam, over some boiling water with lime in it, which was awesome! The finishing point was Mike's homemade Oatmeal Mask and being a man he wasn't the most gentle nor careful applying it and basically was caked all over my face in globs but also all over my robe and legs, the floor and basically everywhere. It was quite hilarious. So needless to say we skipped over the full foot massage room and went straight to the waterfall room (aka bathroom) and straight into the tub, where Mike did a full Shampoo and; conditioning scalp massage (to the best of his ability of course)and a full soap down. As I was showering off, Mike was preparing the Goddess Room (our room), I came into about 50 candles burning, a massage table made out of couch cushions on our bed and a blanket covering them, and enya type music and a plate of juicy blackberries, strawberries, Dove chocolate and whipcream. At this point there was a full body massage and lets just say some more fun stuff to make for a very amazing 6 hour date. I just have to say, I have the ABSOLUTE BEST HUSBAND EVER!!! Saturday was up early to meetings, shopping, the Ward Luau and the Built To Spill Concert, Up early again on sunday for more meetings, church and finally home to unpack and breath for a couple hours. Life really has been so good to Mike and I these past couple weeks because I got offered a permanent position at an office 3 days/week, and the Chemistry department added another Bio-Chem class as there was so many students needing it and he was the 6th one registered. He needs this class as a pre-rec and it is only offered in the fall, so that is marvelous!!! We really have nothing to complain about. He still has the DAT this coming saturday and then he is off all summer. My only complaint it time, I always feel like there is so much to do. Here are some pics from the Luau & Built To Spill Concert Us at the Luau with our normal faces. Our main blog picture of of our "Pukana" faces (aka warrior faces) There were professional dancers and a whole presentation, kind of like the Polynesian Cultural Center The EQ went and killed the 2 pigs in the morning and then for 3 hours had to roast them like this. It was kinda gross, but cool to see and be apart of. This is at Eagle Island Park with Jeff, Laura and little Jack Johnson at the Built to Spill Concert. We had a great time with them and Jack is seriously an angel.

B-day, M-day & Calgary
Well it has been a while and lots has gone on. Last sunday I flew back to Calgs for some serious work. I'm here for 2 weeks so we can make some extra money for Mike's dental school applications which are sent in June 1st. My Nan's b-day was on the 8th so I took her out for a Vietnamese lunch and shopping which was alot of fun. I love my Nan and Grandad! They are so sweet and kind. She had never had Vietnamese and liked it but didn't put the yummy sauce on it. I have been able to visit with Sonia, Joel, Josephine and their latest addition Dorothy. I love my 2 little nieces (for all intents and purposes). Aarika and Eric had me over for dinner at their home in Sundance (My old stompin grounds) which is strange for me. Either way the food was delicious and the company was great! I loved watching Levi and Lucy playing, it was so precious. My mom and I got to hang out and go to Ikea, which is one of those stores I long for. IT's better that there isn't one in Boise as the little bit of money we have would be spent their instead of on our basic necessities. I go just to look and dream. My sister Lanae came up from Lethbridge for the weekend, she is always a blast to hang out with. It has been busy but fun. Church today was enriching and the Mother's or "future mothers" got Purdy's Hedgehogs as our little gift, oh my how delish, just what I needed. We are having Sweet and Sour Chicken for our M-day dinner, which is a childhood favorite. The weather here is really beautiful today, we were outside on the 3 tramps and played bocci ball. I still have a few more days here. Mike and I have chatted daily and he seems to be staying very busy with studying, moving family's, going to the spring fling and all that good stuff. Lets just say, I'm missing him and can't to wait to see him on thursday evening. All in all it has been a good trip, but I'm anxious to get back.
