On Mother's Day, Peggy and Alan arrived late and we were lucky enough to have them for a whole week!!!
They wanted to take us up to Niagara Falls, which was VERY welcomed! Plus its only 2.5 hours away. We had such a great visit and were sad to see them go.
I am going to apologize in advance because there are so many pictures and they are totally random. I really need to learn how to do those collage things. Until then, enjoy the LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG list of pics...
This is our really cool library, this use to be a really rich guy's (William Telling)
Mansion.
The old school Erie Locks
We are behind Niagara Falls!!!
I should be the Mounty...I'm the Canadian!?!?!
After going into the mist of the Falls...drenched!
Before, not knowing what was going to happen. (Vienna did really well)
Vienna's hat Grandma made out of her coloring page at the restaurant.
Euclid Creek Park
So fun!
Gotta love this
Dad helping me slide
My cool bibs from Canaidia (Ka-nay-di-a)
Mike's half marathon bib
My half marathon bib (we didn't get a pic of Alan's, but he did run it! Sorry Al)
behind the falls
So on the Canadian Side..which is SOOOOOOO much better than the US side, there was this street (kinda away from the falls, thankfully, because it detracts from the Falls) but still it was like a mini (very mini) Vegas. Hilarious really, but still fun. I was shocked to see something like this in Canada, especially with the US side being, well...dead.
franken-burger??? What???
I love my hershey...NOT, Mr. Kiss was cute though!
One foot in CANADA, One foot in the US. It was so cool to cross the border by foot.
Canada side, city view from US side.
Our Maid of the Mist boat. So fun, I wanted to do it again.
Aww, spending time with my American Grandparents
poncho-dress, the new style.
I can barely see
wondrous! Truly gorgeous.
Canada-US bridge
Diva...I think she is turning black
US observation deck...this is as cool as that side gets.

Life as a Mother...
My second Mother's Day was very special (mostly because of my loving hubby, but I know once Vienna is able, she will show me lots of love). Now that I have been a Mother for just over a year, I can say my life has COMPLETELY changed since little Vienna arrived. It has been a wonderful change and there will continue to be many changes for the next 2 decades, but it is very welcomed.
My little bogart eating pound cake and making a BIG mess ;)
As a mother I have joined a knitting group. It not only allows us to chat, visit and lets our kids play, but it forces us to actually work on our projects!
THis little jailbird is changing every day! The wings are my favorite!
Rhubarb plant for Mother's Day...I really wanted one (or Mike really wants me to make my rhubarb-sour cream pie) either way, I am happy!
Chocolate covered Strawberries...heck yeah! If you look closely you will see my cute card from Vienna for Mother's Day.
As a mother, my time as a wife has become more precious, valuable and sparse, so we make the most of it when we can.
As a mother there are piles of laundry that don't get folded for, lets just say...no longer than a week!
Vienna I love being your Mom and have enjoyed being apart of your world and helping you discover all the joys that come with being here on earth. I love you baby girl!
