Breaks are always so much fun, especially because we had no official plans or destinations. Just our little family spending time together and hanging out. I went back to work so Mike got to watch the kiddos for my first 2 Mondays back, which was super nice and he did great! Here are some pics of the fun things we did.
We decided kinda last minute to go to Hershey, Pennsylvania (5hr drive) away to go to Chocolate world, the Hershey factory. On our way we had to go through Pittsburgh and of course, stop at IKEA! This is a picture of Lincoln's first trip to Ikea.
Look how happy he is!
This is at the pool at the hotel we stayed at. I forgot my swimsuit and a storm was rolling in so it was super windy. Nenna and Daddy had a great time!
Lincoln chilling with me in his carseat.
Unforturnately I didn't take any pics at Chocolate world, but it was lots of fun! We got to go on the ride that was a simulation of the actual chocolate factory with video and stuff. Vienna loved it and it was free. We decided to pay for a very well done Trolly ride around the town of Hershey where we saw Mr. Hershey's estate and everything. We had actors and singing. Well worth it. The drive home was better because we stayed off toll roads, got to see more of the countryside, which was gorgeous and we made a nursing stop at the Penn State Stadium. (no we did not see the torn down statue of Joe Paterno)
Mike's interfaith baseball league is in play-offs now and this is what Vienna does the entire time...plays, runs around etc.
This is her good friend Evelyn, who we will miss dearly when they leave in May :(
Mikey looking all official.
So we went to the water park at Cedar point and they wouldn't let us go on the lazy river after getting him all suited up. It was so sad, but still, look how cute! The swimmer diaper is super huge and its the smallest size.
Oh the long sleeved rash guard, so cute!
All suited up and ready to go, no life jacket though.
ANyway, the next day we went to the waterpark close to our house and they let us take him no problem. He did really well for his first time, but the life jacket was just so big thats all. Glad I bought that hat for him.
The boys after their victory, now on to the semi finals.
Everyone went to Mitchell's ice cream after to celebrate the victory, Vienna, Macey and Sophie ready to eat their ice cream. so cute!
Oh BIG NEWS, Vienna got her first pet. (well dad actually wanted it) we went to get a Gold fish only to discover that they are way more maintenance than expected so we ended up with a betta (aka Chinese fighting fish) he is blue as you can tell and so we kept asking Vienna what his name should be and we were putting on her Silvermist Panties (for those of you who have absolutely no idea who that it, watch the Tinkerbell movie, but it is tinkerbell's friend the fairy of water. ) She is also blue so her fishies name is Silvermist, even though he is a boy. None the less he is super easy and she likes to feed him and watch him swim around.
Last but not least Vienna got to go to her friend MaKendree's birthday party and it was Mickey mouse themed so she was super excited. Even though it was on Saturday, she has asked me everyday since to go to :Kendree's Birthday party" So cute!
Now break is over and its back to real life!
