The rest of June and some of July!

So the story of my life...I'm way behind on my blog posts, but at least I'm not over a month.
Father's Day was low key, just like Mother's Day this year. We were just getting home from our Utah trip and so we just made breakfast in bed and let Daddy take a nap and kind of have the day off. We sure love our amazing, loving, caring, patient Daddy!
This little baby of mine, isn't really a baby anymore. It's kind of sad.
Ice block activity. I froze a bunch of small toys inside a big block of ice and they had to get them out
 painting bird houses for Vienna
these sweet little boys are always going along with Vienna's various things.

Our play at the park, turned into a swim in the river...of course.
Ethan's birthday party reunited some of her very missed preschool friends

2nd ANNUAL CANADA DAY PARTY!!
We did it again and it was great! No wind this time around, just really, really hot. We had more people, which was nice and we had people stay and swim, which is what I dreamed would happen. The only sad part is that once our guests arrived I totally forgot to take pictures :( All I have are the decorations and set-up, but at least I have that. It was a blast. Can't wait for next years, although I'm not sure where we'll be.

On actual Canada we all wore our Canadian shirts, but I had to work so it was a pretty lame day.
Here are my cuties in their shirts from Aarika, who is such a great friend for sending Canadian things!!!
 goofy faces of course!
Here are some of their other Canadian clothes. I love this picture because this is how it always is trying to get a good photo.

The 4th of July was tough this year. After being at my Nan's funeral last year,  I guess I just thought it would be spent doing fun things with family. That's what the 4th is all about, but it turns out that wasn't the case. I did try, but it was to no avail. So after getting over the sadness and frustration of being close to family yet being far away at the same time, I decided to host a bunch of the Davis family at our home on the 3rd  (lots of them weren't available on the 4th)  since there's nothing more important than family, even if it means work. It was really nice once everyone arrived, but the day of prep alone with 3 little ones pushed me over my already sad/frustrated self's edge. The wonderful adult conversation that night and the memories made it all worth it. On the 4th we managed to find some friends, with no family in town that wanted to go to the parade with us, which the kids loved! Then my awesome co-workers invited our family to their home for a BBQ and to watch their fireworks. They live in West Richland where fireworks are legal and they spent $450 at the reservation, which means lots of HUGE fireworks. It was awesome! Everyone in West Richland does! The boys were getting so tired but they did great and stayed up until 10. We snuck away before it was over to put the boys to bed and then we got to sit on the roof with our sweet little lady and watch the stadium and river fireworks. She couldn't get enough of being up there. It ended up being a perfect 4th as a family and friends. The kids LOVED the fireworks tons.
parade fun at the top, waiting for fireworks and more parade fun at the bottom
Vienna and Morgan became buddies right away

This is just a few other things from July!
These 2 were so cute while running errands and Vienna was a princess camp. Adorable !!!
Mike and I got a babysitter and since foot golf wasn't a go, we decided on a yummy (but too expensive) dinner at a train car restaurant and some errands...of course.
A friends birthday at Leslie Grove park was fun because there were so many young kids.
Here is Vienna's final day of Princess Academy, where she got to tell us her favorite part about the week. She really enjoyed herself.
Following Jedi camp and Princess academy we had a spur of the moment play at the park, and lunch date with our cousins, which is always a special time. They play so well together.
These kids LOVE to go on bikerides around the neighborhood and do a great job. We just went on one with Lincoln on his big boy bike and he rocked it!

On Canada Day my little E-man was sportin his Eh! shirt, wearing a rasta hat all while being an American. He is the cutest American, Canadian, Jamaican I ever saw!
Summer is so much fun and is going surprisingly well.
The next post is our visit with Chubbs and her friend Danny!
