Our Story as of Late!

I can't believe that it is almost September??? I can't believe we are about to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary, where has time gone??? We have had a very busy couple of weeks. Mike has started back at school, we have another year here in Boise and then we are off...where we do not know. Since our last post, when Mike had the 4 interviews, we are now up to 6 interviews and are very excited about each and everyone. Just to let you know how competative things are, when Mike interviewed in Cleveland, Ohio, they told him they got 3300 applicants, they only offered 300 interviews and of those 300 they only take 78 individuals. YIKERS!!! So just because we have interviews doesn't guarantee us in. Either way it really increases our chances. Plus (I know I am biased) but Mike will do great at the interviews!!! He has one in Arizona this week and one in California next week and then he doesn't have any yet until October. The 2 latest schools are Western in Pomona, CA and Boston University in Boston. He is a busy man trying to juggle school and interviews and a wife and well thats enough. As for me, I am still working at All Seasons 3 days.wk, but every now and then I get an extra day or two, which is great! Things are going well. Here are some pics of what we have been up to as of late!

Hanging Out in Bo-Do, just walking around enjoying the weather!
Getting pumped for our Bronco Nation Season, they are ranked really well this year. Go Broncos...Buck those Ducks!!!
Mike back in the grind with Bio Chem, Head and Neck Anatomy, Micro & Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy. Oh and of course his Nano-Particle Research for the Chem department. Talk about busy!

POOP...wait a minute..nope its...

First of all here are the pics from the last post...

What a load
What a Man!
What an adventure!

I'm telling you these cupcake-pops are amazingly delicious and absolutely adorable. I have no idea how she did them, but did you notice the LDS and the CTR on top. How cute! Nice work Natasha!
So on to the other stories...first take a look at these pics and take a wild guess...is it poo, throw up or...Chubbs what is it???

What you are seeing, after literally prying these cushions apart is...the doings of my youngest sister. She really is a menace, who needs kids when you have a little sis that does this and my goofy husband who acts like an adorable child quite often? Anyway, this is...A Milk Dud that so pleasantly made its way under Chubbs bumb one night while she was here for graduation. I conveniently found it n the couch one night and was disgusted. I have no idea where to begin, but all I can say is "THANKS CHUBBS, YOU HAVE LEFT YOUR MARK" Any suggestions on how to clean it??? Oh the joys!
Despite that and yes a broken TV, which we have already replaced thanks to the discount store "Steelz." We went from a 47" to a 37" but oh well, what can ya do?
We got to go to Parker's 1st b-day and the cake that brittany Moore (in our ward)is below, she did awesome. If anyone needs a cake let me know. She is trying to start her own business. Go Brittany!

The last and final story is...Mike has been invited for 4 interviews! We are so excited! There is Indiana, Nova, CASE and Midwestern. Wow, how exciting and expensive. You just do what you gotta do! Thats what they say anyway?
A random Eth shot???

Daily Happenings!!!

Life is always full of bumps, which keeps things exciting. Nothing major, just the usual...breaking eggs all over the floor, having Mike eat them for breakfast, having a TV working in the morning and completely out of commission and in shambles on the floor in the evening, Mike getting an interview at NOVA in florida October, his first one of hopefully many. YEAH!!! Running with Laura, trying to be healthy, but getting upset about the TV (which is a great excuse for a Sonic Blast- 1000 calories later!!! so much for being healthy), A last minute trip to RC Willey just to check out prices of TV's, in case a new one is necessary. Thats about it, well except to mention that I only have 1 official meeting this week and only 3 more weeks of double duty. Oh I can not wait!!! I got my teeth cleaned today, which was very overdue and i'm a hygienist, honestly! What else...Mike went on a backpacking trip this weekend. Lots of work for such a short time but he said it was gorgeous. They climbed alot! Too bad the fish were all too small to eat. We went to a wonderful baptism saturday night, where Natasha (the one being baptized) made these delicious, cupcake-pops, which were amazing! Then we went to the batting cages a Wahooz, which was my first go at this, and it was a blast. We played games until late that night with the Mower's and then it was church, after which we went to St. Lukes (the baby hospital - its hilarious, we have been there so many times, Mike already has the room picked out he wants, if we have a baby here) to visit our good friends the Ensminger's with their new little man, Logan. He is adorable. We were not able to hold him as he is in the NICU, but he is doing great, as is mom! You are a trooper Kel. Then it was more games that evening with the Van Loo's. I guess you could say we are living it up! As we should be.
I have pics on my phone of Mike's backpacking attire and the deliciuos treats but I need Mike to help me, so i will post them soon.
Thats all....
