June in September as well...Maybe, just maybe, I will catch up this Month!

June turned out to be a much more stressful month than expected. I guess in my ignorance, I thought it would be somewhat fairy tale-like, with finally having Mike home, our own business with all its bliss (lol) and the start of really warm weather. It didn't work out that way at all, but we still made the most of it!
Unfortunately these didn't show up in order, but alas they are still here.
Hanging in there with this pregnancy thing, I'm a veteran now.

We were invited to an Alice in Wonderland party and we had a guest appearance from the Mad hatter himself. He looked great! Very Burton-esque.
All the kids got to make their own mad hatter hat!
It was a fun party for sure.

The boys blowing each other away with the leaf blower

This was fun and he did really well, They all did. Vienna did have some work to do. Amazingly the state makes the kids have dental insurance, but their own parent can't provide their care...makes no sense. Luckily we sent in the claims and they still paid, its good to have a common last name sometimes.
Waiting at Les Shwab with some crazy kids was no fun at all, but they were kind of cute.
Lincoln felt really special when Daddy took him to Tri-Cities with him and he got to be the only kid at Grandma and Grandpa's for 2 nights!
These kiddos absolutely love getting mail from Grandma. Its probably not as good as seeing them more often, but the little goodies she sends sure gets them excited!
Look at this handsome man! He is all dressed up and ready for work on his First day at his own practice. He had an amazing first day! A cash pay bridge patient, which is unheard of.
 Look at this crazy man!
He got a new chain saw and to operate it you have to make that face?!?!?

Vienna finished off Kindergarten really well and even though she was only in Mrs. Stephens class for a few weeks she was very welcome. She sure did miss her friends in Tri-Cities though.
She says she still wants to be a Vet, even 3 months later, so thats a good sign.

Everyone must experience WalMart Ninjas at some time in their lives.

We discovered that the kids LOVE to wash the cars and it keeps them occupied for at least 1-2hrs. YEAH!

Lincoln finished off his preschool year really well, he loved having Amber for his teacher, he also missed his buddies Austin and Tate and Mrs. Tonya too. Cute little boy! He had a tough time at graduation, he would not wear his cap or really do much of the performing, but thats ok, thats why we do preschool, right??

Sonia and I planned last year on her birthday, that because I would actually be on the Western side of the country, we would get together to celebrate and have a girls weekend. Well little did I know Id be due super close to her B-day, so we decided to celebrate early in June. We met half way in Invermere. It was such a blast. We found a great place on air B&B. We relaxed, visited, ate out, painted our nails, did some window shopping and just enjoyed our time. We also went to Radium Hotsprings. It will be fun to have a girls weekend every year, I hope. Here are a few pics, I never take enough.
We saw such a pretty view on our little walk near the place we stayed.

Here was our personal entry to our basement suite.
While I was there, Vienna got to go with Mema and Papa to their trailor at the lake. I met them in Canmore and then she continued on with them. It looks like she had a great time!
She insisted on swimming even though it was super cold.
She got to see double rainbows all the way, with Papa!
And do lots of fun snap chat pics with Mema!
Hopefully her and Lincoln will be able to go next summer for a while, they would love it and so would we!

Mike got invited to play in Hoop Fest this year with his buddy Ryan from Tri-Cities. We all attended and even my folks came down to attend and help out. It was quite phenomenal to see that many teams playing all over the downtown Spokane area. The kids loved it too. They had lots of fun stuff to do while you waited for your next game.
Like giant bouncy slides for Everett
Here is one game in action...
And another...nice pass Mikey! Their team name was SuperFresh. Dont ask me???
and facepainting for Lincoln and Vienna. Mike and I were both shocked that Lincoln wanted to and was willing to allow it to happen. He is such a peculiar little guy with his sensory stuff and OCD traits that this was quite the feat, we were really proud of him!
 There is that angry bird!
Here is our Sparkly tiger type gal! she slept with it for 2 days, where as Lincoln wanted it washed off pretty darn quickly once we got home.

Father's Day was strange this year because Mike planned for us to go out of town that weekend w/o kids, but they worked really hard on these special "Why I Love my Dad" books and we made a yummy dinner for him upon our arrival home from our trip. We also all got him (even Oaks) a yummy smelling body wash to have b/c he always uses mine. LOL. Now he has 5 new ones all to himself.
Here is working on the books in action.

Mike is always so sweet and romantic and I sincerely appreciate it. He loves to get away and just have us time. I like to do that too, however I'm much too practical and he just makes it happen, which I love. We had been apart so much for 2 months that we needed some catch up time and so he found on air bnb a totally rustic cabin in the middle of no where in Northern Idaho. It had no electricity or running water, there was an outdoor bathtub, a potbelly stove to keep it warm and open space. We stopped in sandpoint for a few hours and walked around, there was a farmers market going on that we stopped at and went down to the lake. It was so cute. I had no idea where we were headed from here. LOL. We ate a yummy sushi lunch and then continued on our way into the middle of no where. We got there and even checking in at this families home where they live off their land for the most part, I had no idea what our accommodations consisted of. It turned out to be perfect, and there was only a smidge of rain so we got to do all the activities Mike had planned. He made us Carne Asada for dinner and it was delicious, we went on a nature walk, played yardzee (I kicked his trash again) and then we relaxed. It was perfect! I didn't take enough pictures but here are a few of them.
My handsome man all ready for our Nature Walk!
Here is our cabin! It was so darling!
Our out house was adorable as well!
This was a cute mosaic outside in Sandpoint.
Thats the outside of the outhouse!
Here is remnants of our sushi lunch in Sandpoint, it was really yummy!
Thank you Mikey for the surprise adventure, you're the best at keeping the romance alive!

Unfortunately the day we got home from our retreat, we had to make some very difficult decisions at the practice, which we didn't want to but had to. We had to change our office managers job description and change her salary, knowing full well that she probably would just leave. It was SO difficult and like we thought, she did not come back and so began the still never-ending challenge. It has turned out to be the best decision but by far the most challenging and exhausting one at the same time. Let's just say that we are still cleaning up the ginormous mess that she allowed to happen, while still trying to find that perfect candidate. I don't have the time or energy to elaborate on the specifics, but lets just say since June 20th our world has been ROCKED.

Luckily we were able to have the McAllisters come visit us towards the end of the month. They needed/wanted some dental work  and then we also had them with us to make the trek up to Cardston/Calgary in Jalopy. We are so glad they came! It was a busy couple of days but we squished in some fun! Parker is a funny little boy and they all played so well together!

Even though our adventure was delayed, we made it thanks to help from good 'ol Steve!
Danger with his little guy Owen. How sweet!
Little did I or Dane know that he would end up watching our kiddos all day upon his return home because I have had to live at the office doing so much clean up. We did get to take him out for a yummy fun experience at a place called DID'S hawaiian Shack, but got to eat off of the neighboring Thai restuarants menu. Not only that its casual, with arcade games and your earn money by purchasing food. It is the best of both worlds for sure! Thanks again Danger for taking good care of our kiddos for us!

Now on to July...someday
